A step backwards for the Church?

Evening everybody. As some of you may be aware, the General Synod of the Church of England, for the past few days, has been deliberating on the issue of female bishops and whether or not to move forward and change Church legislation, allowing women to hold the role.  In what some might consider a shock move, the Synod voted against the movement, loosing by a small minority in the House of Laity. I ask the question, is this failure of the Anglican Church to allow the ordination of female bishops, Continue reading [...]

Why God exists.

Evening folks. The title of this one may have you asking: "What on earth does Clarke have to be doing (or incidentally, not doing) to possess him write such a piece at 1am?" Well I'm not out partying for a start, and seeing as though I've had such a long day travelling to and from Harrogate - not for fun, I'm on work experience at my old secondary school - I fell asleep earlier after a feast of Dominos and tea and thus, I'm not tired anymore. Would Michael have ever thrilled again?

Good evening friends, hope you're all swell. It's been a fair old while since I posted and to be honest, it's with good reason! You see, the lack of sun (for some reason), inspired me to pop across the road to see my mother and, as always, a Continue reading [...]

That’s a wrap!

It's been a fair old while since I wrote to you but to be honest, the past few months have been pretty hectic; university work, my job, socialising and generally being a responsible adult (spending lots of money and staying in bed all day) has meant I haven't really had a free moment to sit down, and just write. I suppose the main focus of this post is just to gloat about the fact that I have finally finished university for the year. That's it. All done...at Continue reading [...]
